Of course, there are many startup awards out there. But when it comes to promoting your circular economy business idea, the Green Alley Award is your best chance to take centre stage in this industry. At our finals in Berlin we will connect you to experts and mentors offering valuable advice as well as access to a great network and new business contacts. The family-like atmosphere makes it easy for you to approach high-ranking professionals and talk to them face-to-face. What differentiates the Green Alley Award from other startup awards is a flat hierarchy. When you arrive at the event location it can happen that you directly bump into Jan Patrick Schulz, the CEO of Landbell Group, and have a chat with him!
Networking Opportunities
Once chosen for the Top 20, there is no such thing as loosing! A pre-selected number of startups will be put on our website for a public vote, which is a great opportunity to make as much noise as possible for you and your topic. The startup with the majority of the votes will be automatically amongst the six finalists. The remaining five will be selected by our expert committee. We offer every Green Alley Award finalist great networking and learning opportunities during our event in Berlin. In workshops they will meet European circular economy experts and startup mentors offering valuable advice as well as access to a great network and new business contacts. In the evening all finalists will get the opportunity to present their business ideas in a live pitch to an international audience.
The cash prize
At the same time, we do not forget that money makes the startup world go round. Startup awards like the Green Alley Award are a good starting point to raise capital for your business without any strings attached. Wooing our jury does not come at the same prize as wooing venture capital or angel investors, who need legal documentation and are more interested in their own returns from the business. Instead, the Green Alley Award offers clear options for your cash flow: one of the finalists will win the cash prize of €25,000 which can be directly invested in your business.
Who we are looking for
Your business is based in Europe and develops solutions for waste prevention, recycling or the digital circular economy? Great!
