Green City Solutions: New Biotech filter

(2016 Green Alley Award Winner)

Green City Solutions, the Berlin-based startup dedicated to improving air quality, has some exciting updates on their new launch of the biotech filter for #WallBreze using new technology! Together with the #CityTree and #CityBreeze, Green City Solutions combine biology with technology: moss as a natural air purifier with sensors and maintenance

An important element of their new product is moss which has the natural ability to bind and metabolize fine dust while cooling the ambient air by evaporating water on their leaf surface. Another element is technology which ensures the survival of mosses outside their natural habitat and additionally optimises the cooling and filtering effect on the environment and collects data, which can be visible by an online dashboard used to prove the quality of the air and the performance of the bio-filter.

Traceless Materials: New Partner for Development

(2021 Green Alley Award Winner)

Traceless materials has a new partner: Blue Cap / Planatol! Their joint effort will focus on the development of traceless for hot melt glues, the same adhesives that hold together much of the paper and cardboard packaging we use on a daily basis. Usually, hot melt glues use a thermoplastic as a base, but traceless materials and Blue Cap believe in providing new solutions for these plastic applications. In collaboration with Blue Cap / Planatol we are excited to see them replace traditional hot melt glues with plastic-free and plant-based traceless material. We believe this partnership will allow them to explore the possibilities of traceless further and to develop innovative, sustainable solutions for adhesive products.

Stay tuned for further updates on their progress!
