ATELIER RIFORMA: Milan Sustainable Festival

(2022 Green Alley Award Finalist)

Milan is an exciting city for startups and innovators, and Atelier Riforma, a former 2022 Green Alley Award Finalist, knows how to make good use of these great opportunities. In fact, the founders attended the “Mate.ria Tessile” event, organized by the Politecnico di Milano in the context of the Festival of Sustainable Development. The theme of the 2-day meeting was “the complexity of enhancing #textilewaste” in a sustainable way, since two major changes await in the Italian textile industry:  on one hand the implementation of the Italian EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) regime on textiles and on the other the creation of new #Textilehub in Italy. KAPUTT.DE: Sustainable and flexible deliveries

(2020 Green Alley Award Finalist)

(2021 Green Alley Award Winner)

May was an exciting month for the 2021 Green Alley Award Winner, Traceless Material: for the construction of their demonstration production plant, they have received a € 5 million funds from the Environmental Innovation Programme of the German Federal Environment Ministry (BMUV) which supports companies in innovative, large-scale pilot projects to reduce environmental impact.
